Although this time of year is not typically known as "tick season" we have had quite a number of paralysis tick cases coming into our hospital over the last few weeks. Please be alert and treat your pets all year round. Call us at the clinic or just pop in, we can show you how to search for ticks on your animals and help you pick a tick treatment that is right for you and your pet!

We are very excited to let  you know that Lakes Farm Vet is open for business! Our vet Joél Dunn now has his own business, catering for all your rural animal health needs, with a speciality for a holistic, whole farm, perspective. His mobile service is routinely available on  Mondays and Tuesdays, and other times can be organised by arrangement.
If you live in the Smiths, Myall and Wallis Lake watersheds, you now have a local farm vet. Whether you have an animal health problem that needs to be solved, or you want assistance  to get proactive about your farm's health, give Joél a call!
